Maker's Market September 2010

Today, we had a happy happy day.....
because not only we make a sale but also one of Our craft members has just got engaged!
She told me that story about how her fiance proposed and so on...
very very romantic and it happened in beautiful beach in Okinawa, Japan!


I really glad to hear her happy story and to see thier photos in Japan
That made me happy :):)



Today's weather was quite ok and many customers came to the Market.
Today was like real "Market"

Maker's Market August 2010

We didn't have market last month.
We have missed market day so long and we are very happy to be back there today.

However..................................,
Today was typical Melbourne's weather.
Sunny, raining, sunny, raining, sunny, raining how many times it was changed??

It was quiet as sale but we had a wonderful time!

My craft friends, U chan and A chan, had enjoyed the talk about a lot of things.

We had many our friend's visitor today, too.

I really believe 「Birds of a feather flock together.」
I am always comfortable with my friends and also comfortable with most of my friend's friends.
And I feel I want to be their friend.
Somehow my friend knew my other friend.......always connecting!

I am very happy I am being their friend.


Anyway, I re-realised our friendship^^


We had a quiet Market today. May be because of this funny weather!?

I sold a Mika's Ring, a rabbit, a kids's choker, kids's necklace and ring set, a mobile charm.

Maker's Market June 2010

It was raining and so cold this morning.
But today is Maker's Market day and no problem to wake up early.....well, a little bit hard to wake up because of late night last night watching Soccor wold cup game.

I've got my daughter to help today, so I made a lunch box for her.
and filling hot water to a bottle for tea during market.

Now let's go!

Luckly rain did stop when we arrived Abbotsford convent.
So we could bring our product in there without wet.






We set up as normal but one of craft friend, Ayagurumi brought a lots of new products!




























































Another friend, Uchan also had many pretty winter products.


































There are not many customers today because of the weather.
but hopefully we will do well next time!

Next Market will be 15th Aug.

Maker's Market April 2010

Time has been gone so quickly and we had the 4th Market this year.
Today' s weather was warm up to 27degrees but our market is inside of building so this was present temperature.

Beautiful view as usual but I really appreciate to have a stall in such a beautiful place.

Actually we had a name called "Zakka Rooms"
We made a catalogs with a lots of photos of our handmade products and One of a hair dresser called "Zuii Hair", the owner is very kind and she let us the our catalog put in the waiting rooms.
Today we got a customer who looked the catalog in Zuii Hair.
She bought a lots of our products!!
We are so glad to have such a customer and that made us more motivate working as Zakka rooms.

Also we had many friends visitors today.



I sold 4 Mika's rings, 4 costers and 1 linenXcotton bag.

And thank you very much for shareing such a great time with me to U-chan and A-chan.

Maker's Market March 2010

We had an another fun day today.
I am always looking forward to having time in the Market every months.
Because I like to talking people in the Market and customers as well as chatting with my craft partner U-chan and A-chan.

The weather was just comfortable, not to cold or not too hot.






























The morning was quiet but we had enjoyed talking and knitting!

We talked about old boyfrieds and things.....
Probably that is the story when we were teenager or early 20's!
That memory was so nice to remember and just thinking what they are doing or what they look like now.


I sold one small bag, one Mika's ring, and 2 handbags today.
One of the handbags(purple dots), I just made it yesterday.
The customer bought this bag, she loved it and I was sooooo happy to sell it to her.
I am making my taste craft and feel happy if customer likes my taste, too.























































Thank you very much for sharing time with many nice people especially U-chan.
I really appreciate this opportunities to having stall in the convent.

Maker's Market Febrary 2010

We started this market March 2009.
So we have been doing for 1 year already.













































It was quiet today but we had a great time as usual.
My daughter Sayuka came with me again.
She was good and one of my friend M-san came with her daughter so they could play together, which was great.
Thank you very much, M-san.


My market friend, U chan, she asked her friends to come to the market, so many Japanese came to our stall and I almost thought there were in Japan!

U chan and I talked about a lot of things like how much we are happy and Japanese historical DVD and so on.

I am thinking that we meet people with some reason and same kinds of people meet same sort of people or people who has same thought.

I appreciate to meet people include U chan. She gives me many motivation all the time.
And I am so glad to shere this Market with her.

I sold one small bag and one earrings today,

Maker's Market January 2010

Today is the first market in this year!!
Weather forecast predicted 20 degree and a few shower.....sounds like bit cooler.
My daughter wanted to come with me again.
I hoped she would be ok.

Anyway, when we arrived we saw a black cat.
We just lost our cat in Japan. So we thought our cat's spirit wanted to see us through this cat!















When we walk through the Convent's beautiful garden with fresh air, we felt really good...
















There are half of stalls compare with other time so we had a stall at the wall side.
Looks like different view today.
































I sold linen reversible hat in the early morning which was good start.
But the later on I sold 4 crystal beads rings (Mika's ring).

Thank you for my friend and friend's family to visit us.
