We had just painted our front fence so it is time to make decoration.






We went to the one of a nursery shop and bought many flowers.

While my husband is organising near the front fence, I planted a few kind of herb seed into the pot.

parsley, mint, coriander and Japanese herbs.

We also bought some young strawberries.

I planted the veges and herb area of the garden.



The gardening is taking quite long time but makes us to relax and happy.

You may see some ugly bugs but you can feel everything has life.

We never live without all kinds of creature and plants.

After gardening, I feel very thankful.

That's why I like it!

A great time in Saturday morning

I will do a fun run in December at Albert Park.....will be 10km...

Well, I don't have confidence but I want to try it!

So, I need training.

I have found a great running course which is Duncan McKinnon reserve.





I was curious about it because I always pass through in front of the park when I took my daughter to Japanese Saturday school.


There are a lot of people every Saturday morning, doing jogging, walking and team sports.




Nowadays, Melbourne's weather has been good, so time to do exercise!


I did 8 times of the running course, that makes to 9.6km.
very slowly......with iPod

but I think I will be able to run 10km.


I felt so good after today's run.

Exercise is so much fun and keeps your feel good!

Flog! Frog! Frog!!!!

My younger daughter got a frog soft toy when she was born

Since then I love frog print and toys as she loves.



I bought frog print fabric at Spot Light because I fell in love at the first sight.

I made a pillow and case , a little bag with this material.

she is in toilet training at her child care, she takes this frog print bag

with cloths and shoes everyday.

The shoes are too simple so I put frog applique.

Amigurumi is the soft knitting toy (secound left of the first photo).

I asked to one of my friend to make frog Amigurumi for

her 3 years birthday.

I bought the frog beanie from one of stall holder at Maker's market who selling very cute

knitting beanies and scarfs.

By the way, I bought strowberry one for older daughter from the same stall holder.

Maker's Market

I am shareing a stall in Maker's Market with U every months.


Today is the first day of the Maker's Market at the new venue.

It is bigger room than before and much lighter because there are a lot of windows.

Christmas is coming in 2 months, so we expected today would be busy.

So, we've got variety of goods like "Amigurumi" (Our friend A made them!), hair accsessories, card, baby soft toys, good luck charms, beads jewerelleies, hand bags etc.........

However, today turned out very quiet:(

Anyway we had an another happy day.

Our friends, A, R and M visited us that also made us happy.

I have to say thank you to my husband as he was looking after our kids whole day today.

Granny bag ++ pink dots x rose++

I have Wednesday off which is wonderful to have break at the mid of week.

Every Tuesday night, I do washing that save my time of the Wednesday morning.

I took my kids to school & child care, then I had my free time until 3:30 pm!

Firstly I did some house-work. Then I went to my fitness gym, to do running 5km and pilates.

I have had maybe 5 pilates classes so far but I am still struggling......

Anyway I am having very sore tummy though I have energy to do craft!

I made an another granny bag with different materials.

I used an antique pink botton today.

Please have a look!!

Granny bag ++ black fabric++

This is the granny bag made by black cotton/linen, same as previous post.

I like to make anything pretty so I was going to use pink dots fabric inside of the bag.......

But it would be too sweet, so i used green/orange small flower print instead.

However, I might make pink dots print one.......for pink fan :)

Christmas sock

It is already October! so we've got only less than 3 months this year.

That means, Christmas is coming soon.

I have to make something for Christmas for my market.

I prefer winter Christmas though, in Australia, we have summer Christmas ( however sometimes chilly Christmas in Melbourne :( )
Anyway I have made a few Christmas sock with cotton yarn and linen string.

I will make more with wool yarn so that I can send to Japan!

Corsage bag no.2

I like making but the first try isn't so good most of time.
So I made another black linen bag with different corsage.

Also I made its gore a little bit wider.

It took me 2 days to finish...
Even though it takes long time, I feel satisfied when finished.
